New tyres, tyre fitting, wheel balancing, pressure checks, and puncture repairs for all vehicles.

Whether you need new tyres, a puncture repaired, or your wheels balanced, My Vehicle Maintenance in Masterton has you covered. We supply and fit tyres from leading brands for cars, utes, SUVs, 4WDs, and light commercial vehicles — and we'll help you choose the right tyre for your driving conditions and budget. Wairarapa drivers deal with everything from sealed highways to gravel back roads, so getting the right rubber for your vehicle matters. We also offer wheel balancing, tyre pressure testing, and tyre rotation to maximise the life of your tyres.
Tell us your vehicle and tyre size — we'll recommend options that suit your driving conditions and budget.
We order your tyres and book a fitting time that works for you — often same-day or next-day.
Tyres are fitted, balanced, and pressures set to manufacturer specifications.
We check your alignment and recommend a wheel alignment if your old tyres showed uneven wear.
The right tyres fitted properly — because what's under your vehicle matters as much as what's in it.

We recommend tyres based on how and where you actually drive, not just price

We source from multiple suppliers to get you the best deal on quality rubber

Every tyre is mounted, balanced, and pressure-checked before you leave

Fitting, balancing, rotation, puncture repairs, and pressure checks all under one roof
The legal minimum tread depth in New Zealand is 1.5mm. We recommend replacing tyres at 3mm for safety, as braking distance increases significantly below this point. Uneven wear, cracking in the sidewall, or bulges also mean it's time for new tyres.
It depends on the location and size of the damage. Punctures in the main tread area can often be safely repaired. Damage to the sidewall or shoulder, or punctures larger than 6mm, require replacement. We'll assess it and give you an honest recommendation.
For Wairarapa's gravel roads, we typically recommend all-terrain tyres for 4WDs and utes, or touring tyres with reinforced sidewalls for cars. We'll match the tyre to your vehicle and how much gravel driving you actually do.
We recommend wheel balancing every 10,000 kilometres or whenever you notice vibration at highway speeds. Balancing is also included whenever we fit new tyres.
